About Zanna
So...what is "sexy"?
To me, "sexy" is confidence, passion, energy, and conviction; an air of genuine contentment.  Sexy is knowing who you truly are, showing who you truly are, and loving who you truly are.  Whenever you feel your sexiest, is when you are your sexiest.

So...a little bit about me
My name is Zanna Smith.  I am a certified personal trainer and fitness expert in Indianapolis, Indiana and founder of ZannaFit.   I'm a mother of an incredible 2-year-old boy, Trent.  My daily aspirations include being the best mom I can be, inspiring my clients and helping them change their lives, and taking care of myself by staying connected and doing things that bring me joy.

I've had a passion for fitness and helping people for 12 years.  For me, it all began at age 16 when I studied abroad in Uruguay, South America for 6 months and gained 20 lbs (see above photos and click on them for captions).  Once I returned to my home town of Columbus, Ohio, I knew I needed to do something about my weight gain but didn't know where to start.  I wasn't good at any sports, didn't know how to "work out", and was intimidated in a gym environment.  Despite my hesitations,  I joined a gym, hired a trainer, and through trial and error and A LOT of hard work, lost the weight and discovered my passion.  I have struggled with the same set-backs as everyone else (pregnancy, post baby weight, balancing work and family, etc.) but exercise is what got me through.  I live for helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle and reap ALL the benefits of doing so.  I love my job, I love helping people, and I love watching lives change!

My Philosophy

Exercise should bring nothing but positive thoughts, feelings, and emotions to the mind.  It doesn't have to be dreadful, boring, awkward, unpleasant, or intermittent.  It's a matter of figuring out what works for YOU.  It is an art.  Everyone has different needs, goals, likes, dislikes, stressors, lifestyles, body types, insecurities, etc.  But what we ALL share is the need to be healthy and happy.  My job is to help you achieve those two things.  Many people think they don't have the time or money for exercise.  My belief is that you can't put a time limit or price tag on health and happiness...once accomplished, not one minute will feel wasted nor one penny squandered...I PROMISE!
